There were Chetcheyn rebels known for attacking in Russia before. This happened in 2004, 2006 and 2009. There were multiple hits at one time for almost all of those attacks. The attack at Domodedovo Airport terminal concerned several. Everybody immediately got worried that other attacks were on their way. There could be beefed up security because of Medvedev orders. This could be at all transportation targets within Russia that are there. In Moscow, Domodedovo Airport is just one of three major ones. Response to the Domodedovo Airport attacks

The attack at Domodedovo Airport has already brought on changes. This has mostly been in Russia. There has been a ton of criticism and questions about the security procedures although the Domodedovo Airport has been trying to get security better. The 2004 assaults on 2 planes flying out of Domodedovo Airport terminal began with airport terminal employees illegally selling tickets to the suicide bombers. The World Economic Forum meetings in Switzerland are ones president Medvedev could be postponing. Apparently Secretary General of NATO is "deeply disturbed" by this too. The terrorist attacks in Russia are appalling.
