Seahawks Marshawn Lynch Jerseys soon to fly off shelves

The run by Marshawn Lynch was one of the biggest highlights in the Saints-Seahawks game on Jan. 8. Lynch barreled through the defensive line, and took off down the field. He shrugged off tacklers left scorched earth en route to a touchdown. After that run and the unlikeliest of victories, Lynch Seahawks jerseys should sell like crazy. Some might go as far as taking out a payday advance loan just to get their hands on one of these shirts.

Seattle makes relics from Saints with help of Marshawn Lynch

The Seattle lost two draft picks when Marshawn Lynch was traded from the Buffalo Bills to the Seattle Seahawks. It was worth it though. In playoffs, during the wild card round, St. Louis and Seattle will be playing one another. One of the only teams with a losing record to beat the Saints was the Seahawks. This made the team much better known. The Seahawks and New Orleans Saints were scheduled to play against one another in a match. All Seahawks fans were not looking forward to the game that was sure to end in a crushing. The Seahawks handed the Saints a 41 – 36 loss at Qwest Field. Any bonuses that get handed out will be earned.

The play called the Run

In a play destined to be called simply “The Run,” Lynch was handed the ball on the 33-yard line in Saints’ territory on a play designed to only get a few yards, according to the Seahawks blog. "Beast Mode" was what he instead went into. That meant that the six or more defenders trying to bring him down couldn't do so. He also delivered a bone-rattling stiff arm to the Saints’ Tracy Porter, knocking him to the ground. The Seahawks now go to Chicago to play the Bears in the division round. Marshawn Lynch Seahawks jerseys should be selling like hotcakes at this point. According to the Seattle PI, the noise from the Twelfth Man, the crowd at Qwest, was so loud it registered as a small earthquake.

The other Northwest sporting news stories

There has also been other news in the Northwest. This is about college sports though. The BCS Bowl Championship has been played between the Oregon Ducks and Auburn Tigers, while another smaller school can celebrate. In the FCS Championship game though, the small Division I Easter Washington University Eagles were able to beat the Delaware Blue Hens. Vice President Joe Biden sat in the stands just to watch his school get beat by the Eagles although many though it would never happen.
