Robert Gibbs has had it as White House Press Secretary

Robert Gibbs is giving up his job as White House Press Secretary. Gibbs is likely leaving to work on the re-election campaign for Obama. He will probably be leaving in February. Let’s hope this decision will not affect his income and drive him to apply for paydayloans to pay bills.

White House's Robert Gibbs is leaving

Robert Gibbs, the White House Press Secretary for the Obama administration is leaving his position as chief liaison to the press for the president, according to the USA Today. It seems the Obama administration is losing people left and right, although there hasn't been a reason for why Gibbs has left announced yet. It is anticipated that Gibbs will be leaving sometime in February, likely after the president delivers the State of the Union address. President Obama will still use him is an outside advisor and consultant as he said Gibbs would “continue to have my ear as long as I’m in this job.” There still hasn't been a successor announced. It won't be long though.

People leaving the Obama White house

There have been high turnover rates for the Obama White House thus far. Joe Biden getting replaced by Hillary Clinton was a rumor going around for a while there. It was denied a ton though. Former Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel departed last year to run for mayor of Chicago. There were rumors that Gibbs would be replacing David Axelrod as chief advisor to the president meaning Gibbs leaving wasn't unexpected.

An easy year will be very unlikely

The seats in Congress were taken by new people. Republicans filled many of the seats. The House of Representatives now has a Republican majority, but not in the Senate. At some point, there is likely to be a huge fight in the future with the White house and Republicans considering the next few months is expected to be rocky, even though the parties have agreed at some times.
