A new Barracuda could possibly be getting intended

People love muscle cars. The classic Barracuda might be the next to come back. Domestic automakers have revived the retro style in certain automobiles, especially in high-performance models. The return of classics entices individuals. One of probably the most anticipated to come back has been the Barracuda. The vehicle, though, had been made by Plymouth, which ceased to exist years back.

Barracuda might come back

SEMA or Specialty Equipment Market Association trade show had an appearance, USA Today reports. Roger Gilles, design head of the Chrysler organization and head of Dodge, made an appearance. It’s an elite event, only for people in the auto industry. New projects was a question he was asked. Barracuda had been something he happened to mention. For a long time, people kept asking him over it. Bringing it back is something he seems serious about. This doesn’t guarantee the return of the Barracuda, but it wouldn’t be the worst move to make. It isn't that unreasonable. Retro updates have happened on the Chevy Camaro and Ford Mustang recently. There was also a return of the Dodge Charger and Dodge Challenger. These both did well. Barracuda had been made by Plymouth though. That business is long gone.

Remembering the MOPAR muscle

The Plymouth Barracuda was an incredibly popular car among muscle cars. There were great cars that came for cheap from Plymouth. The first generation, from 1964 to 1966, came with either a straight or slant 6-cylinder, or a 273-cubic-inch V8, and had a base price of about $2,500. In 1967, the car was changed a ton. It ended up with a 426-inch Hemi V8. The HemiCuda convertible is one of the most valuable cars within the world as it is so rare. Also, numerous want to get their hands on the Hemi 426 and 440s. Production ended. This all happened in 1974 too.

Plymouth had been over

The Plymouth brand has been over for a while. Since 2001 it has been gone. The Barracuda will have to go under Dodge or Chrysler if it were brought back.
