RIM and Android cranked by Jobs at latest Apple earnings conference

Steve Jobs most recently took part in an Apple revenue meeting. He used the possibility to slam Android along with RIM and the Blackberry on top of talking about sales and Apple Inc. stock price. When praising iPhone software and bashing Android, he also pointed out that iPhone revenue are a length ahead of every person else. There is also the “Back to the Mac” Apple event to anticipate The event will likely discuss forthcoming computers from Apple.

Meeting about Apple revenue discusses Jobs slamming RIM and Android

There was something exciting at the most recent Apple revenue conference. Steve Jobs made a surprise visit. The fourth quarter of Apple Inc. was great. Earnings were up a ton. He explained that normally, he wouldn’t come to these meetings. Apple Insider accounts that next he said the first $20 billion quarter for Apple was something he just couldn’t miss. He wasn’t that nice. Competition got slammed by him. He pointed out that the iPhone outsold RIM Blackberry by 2 million units, and that Research In Motion had too far to go to catch up. He also pointed out that Android smartphones by Google activated 200,000 units a day to Apple’s 275,000.

Android tablets won’t last for very long

On the heels of the best quarter ever for the Apple stock price – AAPL just hit $300 a share – Jobs also felt he would weigh in on gripes about software and tablets. He explained that Google is misleading customers. Google said the iPhone is “closed” and also the Android is “open” which was wrong. He also pointed out the Android tablet PCs due out soon will be “dead on arrival” because a 7-inch screen is only a bit bigger than a wise phone. He opined that because Apple makes anything in house, the iPad is more bang for less buck than the competitors.

Getting ‘Back to the Mac’
